A priest in St. Petersburg has been sentenced for organizing the kidnapping of a person. TASS reports the details with reference to the city's joint press service.
It is noted that the attacker decided to organize the kidnapping of the person, because he believed that the victim wanted to spread unpleasant information about the priest’s life and remove him from religious services.
According to the press service, the priest found the perpetrator, paid him part of the money, but he went to the police station.
It was also noted that the police officer staged a kidnapping and attack on a person.
It is added that the priest was soon detained. He was sentenced to imprisonment for 3 years and 8 months. He fully admitted his guilt in organizing the kidnapping.
