The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Perm Region sentenced a local resident to 12 years in prison for torturing a woman.
It is reported that the defendant is accused of committing multiple criminal offenses.
The court ruling states: “To impose a sentence of 12 years of imprisonment and to serve the sentence in a general regime penal colony,” as reported by TASS .
It is reported that, according to the investigation, the man kept his common-law wife locked in the house and tortured her.

It is stated that the criminal immobilized the woman with handcuffs and committed violent acts against her.
Subsequently, the sadist cut off the victim’s right hand, thereby causing serious harm to her health.
It is emphasized that this incident occurred in the city of Aleksandrovsk in the Perm region.
The defendant is accused of committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 117, Part 2 of Article 127, Part 1 of Article 161, Part 1 of Article 131, Part 1 of Article 132 and Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
The articles provide for criminal liability for torture, deprivation of a person's liberty, violence and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.
