The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region reported that in Novosibirsk a man armed with a metal pipe attacked a child.
It is emphasized that the incident was recorded near one of the apartment buildings on Petukhova Street.
Investigators explained: "The perpetrator was found to be a 46-year-old man. He hit a four-year-old boy with a piece of a metal pipe," as reported by TASS .
It is emphasized that the blow fell on the head of a young child.
Further possible illegal actions of the 46-year-old local resident were stopped by eyewitnesses of the above-described incident.
Attack on a minor
Police ruled that the man's attack on the boy had no apparent cause.
At present, the defendant is charged with committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraphs “b”, “i” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
