In Moscow, former police officers will be tried for accepting bribes from illegal immigrants

The Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow reported that former police officers who accepted a bribe from an illegal migrant will be tried.

It is emphasized that investigative measures have been completed in relation to the criminals.

In its official Telegram channel, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow states: “Former police officers are accused of bribery according to the available volume of evidence.”

It is reported that the actions of the defendants fall under the elements of a crime provided for in paragraph "a" of Part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the information received, on April 18, the then legal police officers were patrolling.
