The Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kursk Region has launched an investigation into the attempted murder of a minor child.
A resident of Kursk is suspected of attempting to murder her daughter, the website of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kursk Region reports.
The incident occurred on October 27. In one of the apartments in Kursk, a mother tried to strangle a baby with a belt from a robe.
After the nine-month-old girl lost consciousness, the woman called an ambulance.
The child was urgently taken to the city hospital. Doctors provided her with the necessary assistance.
Now the girl's condition has stabilized.
In connection with the criminal case, an inspection of the crime scene has been conducted, witnesses are being questioned, and examinations have been ordered.
The investigator carries out activities to collect and record evidence.
