A 29-year-old Russian woman has been arrested on suspicion of murdering her young son.
A woman took the life of a child during an argument, the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Chuvashia reported on its Telegram channel.
The incident occurred in Cheboksary on July 8. A Russian woman, while in her apartment, used physical force against her 7-year-old son.
This was preceded by a conflict, the causes of which are being established by investigators. According to preliminary information, the woman strangled the boy.
The child died at the scene. His mother was detained and taken into custody.
A criminal case has been opened against a Russian woman for the murder of a minor, who was known to the perpetrator to be in a helpless state (clause “b” of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
While investigators are establishing all the events and circumstances of that fateful day, they are collecting all the information about the family and the suspect.
It is noted that the family was not registered with the prevention system.
