The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bashkiria reported that rescuers are searching for a child who was unable to get out of a car sinking in the river.
Earlier it was reported that a UAZ vehicle sank in the water along with a trailer and a boat.
Two adults and two children were able to escape from the sinking vehicle, TASS reports.
However, a seven-year-old child remained in the car, and rescue workers are searching for him.
Stalemate
As the authorized employees explained, they managed to extract the sunken car.
The search conducted in relation to the vehicle revealed that the missing child was not found in the vehicle.
From the message from the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the region it follows: “The State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan is conducting search operations together with the Emergencies Ministry.”
It is reported that the above-mentioned actions of rescue teams will resume at dawn.
