A trial of a housekeeper took place in Blagoveshchensk.
The woman was accused of drinking the entire supply of elite alcoholic drinks while the owners of the house were away.
The Amur Region Prosecutor’s Office reported this on its official website .
The woman was found guilty of theft and sentenced to 10 months of correctional labor. She will also have 5% of her salary withheld in favor of the state.
According to investigators, the employers suffered damages totaling 180 thousand rubles.
Circumstances of the case
As the prosecutor's office found out, the woman got a job with one of the local businessmen. The employer strictly forbade the employee to touch elite alcohol in his absence.
However, the woman did not listen and began to steal bottles of expensive whiskey, cognac, wine and other elite alcoholic drinks.
The owners soon discovered that the alcohol was missing, after which they immediately fired the employee and contacted the police.
