The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Perm Region reported that the head of the capital construction department of the Perm mayor's office was detained.
It is emphasized that the reason for the arrest is bribery on an especially large scale.
Investigators explained: “The defendant will spend two months in prison,” as reported by TASS .
It is reported that the accused was involved in the illegal theft of 5 million Russian rubles.
Stealing money
As the investigative bodies established, on July 22, 2022, in Perm, the director of a legal entity engaged in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings entered into a deal with the accused.
As part of the deal, the detainee was given 5 million rubles in cash through an intermediary.
It is emphasized that the funds were supposed to cover the commission of obviously illegal actions in which the legal entity was interested.
The director of the above-mentioned company was also taken into custody, and the necessary investigative measures are being carried out in relation to him.
