Those who offered their services to relatives of the chairman of the board of directors of JSC Krasnoyarsk Trust of Engineering and Construction Surveys (TISIZ), Oleg Mitvol, who is under investigation, did not escape responsibility.
Andrei Kapelin and Vladimir Burtsev were sentenced to 3.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.
Circumstances of the case
As the investigation found out, the accused turned to the relatives of Oleg Mitvol, against whom a criminal case was opened in 2023.
Wanting to profit from the suspect’s relatives, Kapelin turned to his friend Burtsev and offered him to earn money.
The men convinced Mitvol's relatives that they could influence the final verdict in the case.
Mitvol realized that the defendants in the case were fraudsters, so he brought the fraudsters to justice with the help of the special services. The accomplices were caught red-handed.
