Several people will be tried in the Moscow region for organizing and conducting gambling. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to Olga Vradiy, Senior Assistant to the Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region.
The investigation established that in 2020, six people created a group to conduct gambling outside the gambling zone.
According to Vradiy, these individuals created the structure of the criminal group, distributed the responsibilities and roles of each, and resolved the issue of the participants’ income.
She noted that gambling establishments opened in Podolsk and St. Petersburg had rooms with computers.
It is known that during the period of criminal activity the criminals' income exceeded 10 million rubles.
It is added that the investigation into the gambling organization has now been completed. The members of the criminal group will be punished.
