Law enforcement officials learned how former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Pavel Baryshev became the owner of a luxury apartment.
A criminal case was opened against the former official for committing fraudulent actions.
On Thursday, September 5, it became known that Baryshev came to the attention of the Russian Investigative Committee.
Law enforcement officers established that in 2017–2019, Baryshev, using forged documents, appropriated an apartment in Moscow, the department’s Telegram channel reported.
The cost of capital real estate is estimated at no less than 20 million rubles.
The official used false documents proving his right to housing.
With their help, Baryshev acquired a three-room apartment.
At the moment, law enforcement officers are conducting an investigation. All circumstances are being established. The property has been seized by the court.
