Sad news has come from Nepal about the tragic death of five Russian tourists in the mountains.
Five previously missing Russian climbers have been found dead on Mount Dhaulagiri.
A group of climbers went missing on October 6 while attempting to conquer a mountain in Nepal, The Himalayan reports.
Heli Everest director Mingma Sherpa confirmed that a search helicopter had found their bodies at an altitude of 7,100 metres.
According to rescuers, the climbers could have fallen from a height of 7,600 meters.
Contact with the five Russians was lost after they left the high-altitude camp at 6:00 a.m. to storm the mountain peak.
The group of climbers last contacted the base camp at around 11:00 am.
One team member, rescued from Camp 1, abandoned further ascent and returned to Kathmandu.
