Five residents of the Amur Region received payments for non-existent children

The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Irina Volk, reported that in the Amur Region, five women received payments for non-existent children.

It is indicated that the children were listed as born illegitimately.

Volk wrote on her official Telegram channel: “According to preliminary data, the women, having entered into a criminal conspiracy, developed a criminal scheme.”

In particular, the fraudsters found a way to fraudulently receive social benefits provided for by the Russian national project “Demography”.

It is reported that the scammers collected the necessary documents for the stated purposes.

The above files contained false information about the alleged birth of children.

Subsequently, the documents were sent to the relevant government agency for the purpose of further receiving social funds.

It is emphasized that the defendants are accused of committing crimes under Parts 3 and 4 of Article 159.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
