The FBI has identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the man involved in the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
This was stated in a statement that the agency published on Sunday, July 14.
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said a Pennsylvania man in his 20s may have shot Trump, NBC News reports.
The FBI has launched an investigation to find out all the details of the assassination attempt.

Shooting Trump
Donald Trump was shot. The attack occurred during his speech in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The shooting left Trump with blood on his ear and cheek.
The shooter was shot dead on the roof, and one of the rally spectators was also killed.
The FBI said it had identified the shooter as a Pennsylvania man in his 20s.
