An explosion occurred in the Krasnogvardeisky district of the city, where one of the branches of the financial organization is located.
The head of the district administration, Andrey Khort, reported the incident on his Telegram channel.
As specified in the publication, the explosion occurred at 10 Sredneokhtinsky Prospekt.
Photos posted on the messenger show the destruction that occurred as a result of the incident.
The door of the bank branch was knocked down and the ATM was damaged. Other details of the incident, as well as the reason that caused it, are still unknown.
According to preliminary information available to Hort, there were no casualties as a result of the explosion.
The head of the St. Petersburg district administration emphasized that he is keeping the situation with the incident under personal control.
