Violations related to discrepancies in the inventory of emissions and their sources were found at the Parnas plant in St. Petersburg. Details were reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the city's committee for nature management, environmental protection and environmental safety.
It is noted that the inspection was unscheduled. It was carried out by a committee in agreement with the prosecutor's office.
According to the press service, inspectors discovered a number of violations, including violations in the use of gas cleaning units and the lack of state registration of the facility.
It was also noted that the legal entity received an order requiring it to eliminate the violations within 3 months.
It is added that the inspection was carried out due to complaints from people about possible air pollution.
