During the opposition protest, 10 foreigners were arrested, the journalists’ report emphasized.
Among those detained, as was revealed during the investigation, were eight Russian citizens, one Belarusian, and one American.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Alexander Darakhvelidze stated that over the two days of protests in the country, 42 security forces were injured in clashes with protesters.
He also said it was likely that the protesters' actions were illegal.
Protests in the Georgian capital broke out on November 28 after the authorities decided to suspend negotiations on joining the European Union.
The police dispersed the protesters using water cannons and tear gas.
During the clashes, police officers, protesters and journalists were injured.
