The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Leningrad Region reported this on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that the ambulance team arrived at the apartment where the 37-year-old unemployed St. Petersburg resident was located.
The man was drunk and during the course of providing medical assistance he attacked medical workers, punching a 31-year-old ambulance paramedic several times in the head and stomach.
The police officers who arrived at the scene detained the suspect on the spot.
An administrative protocol for petty hooliganism was drawn up against the troublemaker, and he was detained. Law enforcement officers are deciding whether to initiate a criminal case against the detainee.
