Doctors report on the condition of teenagers who set fire to helicopter at Russian airport

The underage arsonists ended up in hospital.

This information was reported by the Department of Healthcare for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO).

The teenagers, aged 13 and 14, received burns to their faces and hands, TASS reports.

They are currently in hospital. There is no threat to their lives, their condition is satisfactory.

Minors entered the airport territory and set fire to a Mi-8T helicopter, which belongs to the Utair airline.

The fire completely destroyed the aircraft. The burnt Mi-8 can no longer be restored. The damage is estimated at approximately 300 million rubles.

While patients are receiving assistance, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
