Residents who visited polling stations in the Admiralteysky and Kirovsky districts of the city turned to the city's medical institutions with signs of food poisoning.
The Telegram channel of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg reported that a criminal case has been opened regarding the poisoning of people with prepared food at polling stations.
The investigation revealed signs of a crime under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Citizens who visited sites in the Admiralteysky and Kirovsky districts, where they consumed finished products, contacted city medical institutions.
Investigators have begun examining the crime scenes, conducting searches and carrying out comprehensive measures.
They will have to find out all the circumstances of the case and the persons involved in the crime.
