As noted in the publication, the collision occurred at approximately 15:00 Moscow time.
A Lada Kalina was driving along the Atlashevo-Kugesi-Novocheboksarsk road.
The driver, who was behind the wheel of the vehicle, ignored the red light, which led to a collision with a moving freight train.
As a result of the accident, all people in the passenger car were injured. The passenger of the Lada Kalina, who was next to the driver, died.
Three people, one of whom is the nine-year-old daughter of the woman who was driving, were taken to hospital.
According to the driver, the accident occurred because she did not notice the red traffic light and continued driving.
