Boeing 787 en route to Britain makes emergency landing in Moscow

Moscow airport received a plane flying from India to Great Britain.

On Wednesday, September 4, the Boeing 787-800 aircraft took off from an airport in India. The final destination was declared to be Britain.

The route ran through the territory of the Russian Federation. During the flight, a serious technical malfunction was discovered.

It forced the pilots to look for an airfield to land.

“The plane’s autothrottle failed,” TASS quotes a source in the capital region’s emergency services as saying.

Sheremetyevo gave permission to land. The pilots landed the plane safely at the Russian airport.

The Boeing 787-800 can accommodate up to 250 passengers. However, there is no exact data on how many people were on board.
