Circumstances of the case
The disappearance of a schoolgirl from Omsk became known the day before. A criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under the article on missing persons.
15-year-old Evangelina Aleshkina flew to Omsk from Moscow to visit relatives.
On July 22, when the family was preparing to return to the capital, she went for a walk alone and as a result did not return to the hotel where her family was staying.
A search was organized with the participation of police, volunteers, and the use of specially trained dogs, as well as drones.
It was thanks to the service animals that they were able to find the girl’s tracks, which led law enforcement officers to the Irtysh River.
