The murder in New Moscow has stirred up the entire capital.
The body of a 47-year-old woman was found in the middle of a playground.
The first suspicions fell on robbers or probable ill-wishers of the deceased, but soon another suspect emerged.
The Telegram channel of the capital's Investigative Committee of Russia reported that the 24-year-old daughter of the murdered woman was among the suspects.
She was taken to the department and interrogated. Law enforcement officers found out that the girl tried to hide evidence of her guilt.
There was a conflict between the woman and her daughter. The suspect hit her mother on the head with some heavy object.
The victim went outside and died from her injuries.
For now, law enforcement officers are collecting evidence and establishing other circumstances of the case.
A number of items were found at the scene of the incident and sent for examination.
