An incident that occurred in Vologda has become known.
A fire broke out in a two-story wooden house in the city, where several apartments were located.
The Governor of the Vologda Region, Georgy Filimonov, reported this on his Telegram channel.
According to the official, all people from the burning house will be given temporary shelter and placed in a hotel. He also promised that the fire victims will be provided with hot meals and help with restoring documents.
It is noted that dinner will be provided to the fire victims at school No. 41, after which the victims’ need for housing will be determined.
Circumstances of the incident
It is specified that the apartment building in Vologda was engulfed in flames on December 7.
Before rescuers arrived, 20 residents were able to leave the building on their own. Two Emergencies Ministry buses were sent to the scene to warm people up.
According to preliminary data, there were casualties. One woman was found dead, her identity is still unknown and is being established by rescuers working on the scene.
