An incident that occurred in the capital of Azerbaijan has become known.
An actor of the Russian drama theater, together with his wife, was found with signs of violent death in Baku.
The TASS news agency reported the incident, citing information shared today by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that the murder occurred the day before, on October 22, at 21:00 local time (20:00 Moscow time).
The lifeless bodies of Iosif Tkach (born in 1939) and his wife Lyudmila (born in 1944) were discovered in the Nasimi district of Baku.
Law enforcement officers quickly identified the person involved in the murder. The perpetrator of the crime turned out to be a local resident, 51-year-old Islam Khadiev.
The motives that prompted the suspect to commit the crime remain unknown. The Ministry of Internal Affairs employees continue investigative actions in order to find out the remaining details of the incident.
It is noted that the deceased was a former actor of the Azerbaijan State Academic Russian Drama Theater named after Samad Vurgun.
Tkach is known to the general public for his role in the TV series “Count Krestovsky”.
