A 47-year-old resident of the city of Balakovo, who was kidnapped in the Saratov region, was found dead.
Law enforcement agencies confirmed that the body of the missing woman had been found.
The kidnapping incident occurred on Monday night, RIA Novosti reports.
Two unknown men forced the woman into her own car and fled in an unknown direction.
Investigative bodies have opened two criminal cases under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation:
- murder involving kidnapping, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.
- kidnapping of a person committed by a group of persons by prior agreement.
The woman's body was found in her car on Wednesday.
The woman's whereabouts remained unknown until the moment she was discovered.
