An unusual incident involving a driver in a state of alcoholic intoxication occurred in Chuvashia.
To stop the criminal, the police officer jumped right into his car.
The Chuvash Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the incident on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that this incident occurred on September 18, when a report was received about a Cheboksary resident with external signs of alcohol intoxication.
The suspect refused a medical examination and, while the administrative offence report was being drawn up, he got behind the wheel of the car and drove off.
However, he was stopped by senior traffic police inspector Alexey Avtayev, who jumped into the drunk driver’s car while it was moving.
After this, the man was detained and asked to undergo another medical examination, which ultimately showed a high degree of alcohol intoxication.
