The accident took place at the 26th km of the Lesnoye - Lesozavodsk - Tikhmenevo road.
It is noted that at the specified location, the driver of a Nissan Qashqai drove into the oncoming lane, resulting in a collision with a Toyota Prius.
According to the prosecutor's office, one person died as a result of the accident - a child born in 2013. He received serious injuries, so he died soon after in intensive care.
They also added that the victim was the driver of the Nissan. He was taken to a medical facility with various injuries. Doctors are monitoring his condition.
It is added that the Lesozavodsk interdistrict prosecutor's office is monitoring the establishment of all the details of the accident.
