A case of rescuing a woman who got lost in the forest has become known.
The pensioner spent almost a week in nature and miraculously survived.
The press service of the Kaliningrad Region Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this on its official website .
It is noted that the rescued 79-year-old woman got lost together with her 40-year-old son. The man is still being searched for.
Circumstances of the incident
The woman's disappearance was reported on July 10. She was able to call her neighbor and tell her that she was lost in the forest near the village of Yelniki.
The woman contacted by the victim reported the incident to emergency services only the following day.
A search was organized for the missing persons, but rescuers combed the forest in search of the missing mushroom pickers to no avail.
The victim was discovered this morning by one of the mushroom pickers, who spoke to her and quickly realized that the woman was not feeling well and needed the help of specialists.
The mushroom picker called rescuers and handed the elderly woman over to the care of medical workers.
