RIA Novosti reports this with reference to information confirmed by the Krasnoyarsk Territory Prosecutor’s Office.
The defendant was found guilty of robbery and organizing a murder. In addition to the prison term, the convicted woman will have to pay a fine of 369 thousand.
Circumstances of the case
As the investigation established, the murder took place on March 3, 2023. 67-year-old Nina Kuzmina, who was a well-known matchmaker in the city, was found dead.
A 44-year-old Krasnoyarsk resident confessed to her murder. He was hired to commit the murder to pay off a debt of 600 thousand rubles. He owed this amount to the deceased's friend, who, in turn, owed the matchmaker about 300 thousand rubles.
It is noted that the perpetrators burned the body and took it to the Irkutsk region.
The killer made a deal with the investigation, for which he was sentenced to 13 years in prison in a maximum security penal colony. The person who ordered the murder did not admit her involvement in the crime for a long time.
