52-year-old Evgeny Volovenko caused a disturbance on a plane en route to Khabarovsk.
A criminal case has been opened against the star of the TV series “By the Laws of Wartime” under the article on hooliganism.
The incident occurred on a flight from Moscow to Khabarovsk, TASS reports, citing law enforcement agencies.
During the flight, Volovenko began to insult the flight attendants, demanding that they allow him to smoke in the cabin for a separate fee.
The actor also asked to sell him a drink. For refusing to fulfill his whims, the artist threatened to open the door of the plane during the flight.
The rowdy behavior on board ended with Volovenko being detained at the airport of arrival. It was established that Evgeny had been drunk during the flight.
The actor may be prosecuted for hooliganism.
Volovenko has starred in more than 70 film projects. His most famous role is Ivan Rokotov in the series "By the Laws of Wartime".
