A case has been opened in the Tula Region for illegal waste disposal. Details are reported by TASS , citing the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

An unpleasant incident occurred in the Plavsk region.

It is noted that the fact of burial in the specified location was revealed as a result of an inspection carried out by the environmental prosecutor's office.

According to the press service, the amount of waste amounted to 62 thousand cubic meters.

They also noted that the burial of class IV hazardous waste contaminated the soil. As a result, the damage amounted to over 780 million rubles.

It is added that a criminal case has now been opened. The environmental prosecutor's office is monitoring the case.
