The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Krasnodar Krai reported this on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that a criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under the article on the provision of services of inadequate quality, which resulted in the death of a child.
Circumstances of the case
As the investigation established, the incident occurred in a village in the Labinsky district, where a recreation center is located.
On Saturday evening, a child fell into a pool on the property and drowned.
At the same time, the artificial reservoir did not have the appropriate infrastructure for children to swim in. Also, there were no lifeguards near the pool who could come to the aid of people if necessary.
The Investigative Committee staff organized an inspection of the quality of services provided at the recreation center where the incident occurred.
