The search for the mysteriously missing family from the Saratov region has been completed.
Their bodies were found in a car at the bottom of a river in the Volgograd region.
On September 15, a man contacted the police and reported that he could not contact his father, mother and sister.
The police began searching. A recording from a traffic camera showed that the family was driving along the Samara-Pugachev-Engels-Volgograd highway on September 14 at 20:30 (Moscow time).
The car was traveling at the maximum permitted speed on this section of the road.
The website of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Volgograd Region notes that after this their trail was lost.
This happened in the area of the water crossing over the Yeruslan River.
Divers arrived here, dived and found the family's car with three bodies of the deceased.
The car was raised to the surface. The investigative task force is establishing the circumstances of the incident.
