There were some incidents at polling stations in St. Petersburg.
About 30 people were poisoned by food sold at polling places.
The Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg reported this on its Telegram channel.
According to the department, cases of poisoning in the Admiralteysky and Kirovsky districts of the city were identified the day before.
About 30 people complained of feeling unwell after eating prepared food at polling stations.
It is noted that members of election commissions also could not avoid food poisoning. However, these incidents did not affect the work of polling stations.
Based on the incident, Rospotrebnadzor organized an inspection of the places where the food was prepared.
It turned out that the enterprise that supplied prepared food to the polling stations committed numerous violations of sanitary and epidemiological norms. In connection with this, the organization's activities were suspended.
