A serious accident involving public transport occurred in Saint Petersburg.
Governor Alexander Beglov confirmed the information about the emergency at Vosstaniya Square on his Telegram channel.
The bus crashed into another bus and rammed two cars.

The massive accident was caused by a bus driver who was turning from Nevsky onto Ligovsky Prospekt.
He failed to let oncoming traffic pass. First he crashed into another bus and then rammed cars.
On October 25, a verdict was passed on the driver who was responsible for the bus driving off a bridge and falling into the Moika River in May 2024. Seven people died.
