The accident occurred on Tuesday, August 6, at the 178th kilometer of the R-217 “Kavkaz” highway, as reported on the website of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The exact number of injured and killed is being clarified. The total number of victims is fourteen people. Among them, six are minors.
Eleven people were taken to hospital. One victim received medical assistance at the scene of the accident. Therefore, there are two fatalities.
The accident involved a minibus. At the time of the collision, there were 17 people in it. A passenger car with a driver and four passengers was also involved in the accident.
