It has become known who supports presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The main donors to the presidential campaign were American oil magnates.
The Wall Street Journal shared this information in a new publication.
As it turns out, the main source of funds for Trump's election campaign were funds allocated to him by the heads of American oil corporations.
According to WSJ, oil companies are not providing their assistance to the presidential candidate for free. In case of victory, Donald Trump promised them that he would abandon the climate initiatives promoted by the current White House administration.
Trump also plans to increase support for the US oil industry.
According to the newspaper, Trump is supported by at least four billionaires, who have donated about $10 million to the presidential candidate's campaign.
In total, the oil and gas CEOs donated about $16 million. They also supported Trump during the previous two campaigns, raising about $20 million for him in 2016 and 2020.
