Earlier, it was reported that US President Joe Biden approved a secret plan proposed by the Pentagon concerning strategic nuclear weapons.
The US Defense Department proposed the plan amid concerns that China's nuclear stockpile could pose a serious threat to America within the next few years.
At the same time, Biden did not rule out a possible clash with the DPRK, China and Russia in the future.
In light of this news, the UN expressed alarm about what was happening. Dujarric emphasized that the Secretary General of the organization is very concerned about the possibility of nuclear weapons being used on the battlefield.
Therefore, the UN called for dialogue and diplomacy, with the help of which it proposes to eliminate the emerging threat.
