A tragedy involving a two-year-old child occurred in the UK.
Due to the sudden death of his elderly father, the boy died of dehydration.
This was reported by the Mirror . The guardianship staff made a terrible discovery when they entered the home of the deceased: they saw a 60-year-old lifeless man and a 2-year-old boy, Bronson Battersby, curled up at his father's feet.
According to preliminary data, the boy could have survived if his father had been alive.
Battersby Sr. died of a heart attack. Since the child could not care for himself, he died of dehydration.
It is noted that the baby's 60-year-old father won custody of the child from his wife and lived with him in a semi-basement.
Every week, a social worker visited the single-parent family. It was he who raised the alarm when he was unable to get inside the premises during the next visit.
