Tourists splashed out on a dream trip, only to find themselves stuck on a broken ship for three months.
A ship called the Odyssey was to set sail from Ireland on a three-year voyage around the world.
But Villa Vie Residences has let its wealthy clients down, the Daily Mail reports.
The sea voyage was supposed to start on May 30. But before departure it turned out that the ship was broken.
A problem with the rudders and gearbox was discovered. The crew put the vessel in for repairs.
As a result, the ship stayed for three months in the port of Belfast, which it was supposed to leave at the end of spring. The tourists who came to Ireland from different countries of the world also stayed here.
The company booked hotel rooms for them, as some of the travelers had paid hefty sums for the round-the-world trip.
To get on board the Odyssey, some tourists paid 680 thousand pounds sterling (more than 82 million rubles) for a ticket, but ended up losing three months.
