A tiger shark named Jitterbug accidentally swallowed an iPhone during a tourist excursion in the Bahamas.
The shark first chewed it, then threw it, and then grabbed it again and threw the iPhone.
The smartphone belonged to the expedition captain and was in a waterproof case, so it was not damaged, the Mail Online article emphasizes.
The device was used to record video, which captured impressive footage from inside the shark's mouth.
The shark later spat the phone out onto the ocean floor. It quickly realized that the metal Apple device was not food. The incident was also filmed from another angle by one of the tour crew members.
Underwater photographer Ken Keefer commented on the incident with humor, calling the shark a "sneaky girl." Jitterbug was also unharmed.
