The Muscovite visited several large cities in Italy and complained about the arrogance of the “descendants of the great empire.”
A resident of the Russian capital shared her impressions of a trip to a European country popular with tourists.
In a conversation with Lenta.ru , the girl said that she and her husband visited Rome, Florence, Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino, Milan and Venice.
During their trip, Russians did not encounter any negativity or rude behavior from city residents.
The locals treated the guests normally. The only people who were outraged were the waiters, who, according to the Muscovite, behaved rather arrogantly.
She also clarified that they demonstrated this behavior towards all tourists.
The Russian woman suggested that some Italians consider themselves heirs to a “great empire,” and therefore display arrogance and haughtiness.
The girl admitted that it is precisely because of this that the level of service in Italian restaurants is much inferior to that in Moscow.
