According to the resource, the second incident involving an aircraft assembled during the Soviet era occurred on the territory of the airport in the Californian town of Watsonville.
This time, the accident involved a private Yak-50. It was manufactured in 1984.
The pilot crashed into a privately owned US-made Beechcraft S35 Bonanza before takeoff.
The incident did not result in casualties. Only the planes were damaged. It is noted that the owner of the Soviet air transport suffered "significant damage."
