According to a leaked medical report from 2023, Khelif has internal testicles and XY chromosomes, Hindustan Times reports.
The report described Khelif's biological features, including the presence of internal testicles and the absence of a uterus.
In addition, MRI revealed the presence of a male genital organ.
Another test confirmed that Khelif is a carrier of the 46,XY male karyotype, with male testosterone levels.
However, this discovery is not something fundamentally new, since the presence of the XY chromosome in Khelif was reported before the Paris Olympics.
In 2023, the International Boxing Association banned the boxer from participating in the gold medal fight at the World Championships in New Delhi.
