The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of Kazakhstan reported that Tajikistan sent the state almost 500 million cubic meters of water.
It is emphasized that the specified volume of liquid will be used to irrigate agricultural land.
In its official Telegram channel, the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of Kazakhstan noted: “Last year, they sent us 40 million cubic meters less.”
In addition, Kazakhstan says it received 45 million cubic meters more liquid than originally expected.
Water supplies
Tajikistan has repeatedly indicated that it is a significant partner for Kazakhstan.
The state also pointed out the fact that it pays great attention to the issue of proper use of water resources.
The Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Tajikistan, Nurzhan Nurzhigitov, emphasized: “We also strive to ensure water conservation.”
According to Nurzhigitov, his country continues to closely cooperate with Kazakhstan on this issue.
