The foreign news outlet RMC Sport reported that six South Korean swimmers left the Olympic Village due to inconvenience.
It is emphasized that the athletes were confused by the organization of the transport system in Paris.
RMC Sport , in particular, writes: "The swimmers from South Korea have moved closer to the pool. Two of them have voiced complaints about Parisian transport."
It is reported that the buses in the French capital do not have air conditioning, and therefore their interiors are “like a sauna”.
Critical remarks
One of the athletes told the press: “It’s cooler outside than on Parisian public transport.”
As the swimmers added, they ultimately chose to move to a hotel located near the Olympic swimming pool in the Nanterre area.
The day before, foreign media reported that the South Korean team was presented as athletes from the DPRK.
The event's announcers were found responsible for the embarrassment that occurred.
