On Friday and Saturday, six ships of the NATO naval group arrived in the capital of Estonia, the ERR television and radio company emphasized in a report.
The first to arrive at the Old Port of Tallinn was the British frigate HMS Iron Duke.
On Saturday morning, the Norwegian command ship HNoMS Maud, frigates from France, the Netherlands, Belgium and, as expected, the patrol ship FS Commandant Blaison were observed in the port.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Estonian Navy, Ivo Värk, called the group of ships the "main striking force" of NATO's naval forces.
The presence of the naval group's ships in Tallinn is certainly linked to the alliance's regional defence plans.
The patrol ship FS Commandant Blaisoт will be involved in the exercises of the Estonian Defence Forces.
