The Commander-in-Chief of the Estonian Navy, Ivo Värk, called the group of ships the "main striking force" of NATO's naval forces.

The presence of the naval group's ships in Tallinn is certainly linked to the alliance's regional defence plans.

The patrol ship FS Commandant Blaisoт will be involved in the exercises of the Estonian Defence Forces.
